ASA! with Nkenge!

A renowned educator in the DMV public school system, ASA!'s Director of Certification, and  Assistant director for ASA! Kelenya, Nkenge Cunningham is our PRIDE AND JOY!! She brings precision, energy, and smiles to EVERY class!

She began her professional dancing career at the precious age of 5 in New York City under the auspices of Marie Basse Wiles, founder and director of Maimouna Keita School of West African. She currently performs and teaches with the D.C. based company, Farafina Kan. Teaching internationally as a Master certified ASA! instructor, ASA! has recently come to take its rightful place inside her dance career.
